Plasma Bigscreen Initial Setup Issues

Hey guys,

I’m very new to the Linux world. I’m trying to get plasma big screen running on a pi 4. I initially had an issue where there was no user to select at the login screen. I figured out how to add a user with chroot, but now when I log in I just get a black screen for several seconds and then am returned to the login screen. I suspect it could have something to do with this post stating that pico wizard could be to blame, but dont really understand why or how to fix it;

Trying the Bigscreen image, but no user available to log in

Hello. I am trying to use the Manjaro Bigscreen image on my Raspberry Pi 4, but there is no way to log in when the display manager loads. It instructs me to “Select your user and enter password”, but there are no users to choose from. I switched to another terminal and tried to log in with “root”. It won’t log in with either a blank password, or “manjaro” as the password. I saw some posts that suggested those. Is there any way that I can add a user and log in? Thanks, Steve

None of us here maintains that image and I have no clue who does. It has been broke for a while.
