Touchpad does not work after sleep

I’m using Manjaro KDE on a Lenovo Miix 520, which has a detachable keyboard/touchpad.
The keyboard and touchpad work nicely, but if I set the system to sleep, when it wakes back up, the keyboard works, but the touchpad doesn’t.

Sometimes I see a popup saying “Touchpad disabled” on the screen right after it wakes up.

Removing and re-ataching the keyboard/touchpad does not work. Only a reboot works.
I don’t know what’s going on. Can anyone help?

Now we know the symptom of the disease, but we need some more probing to know where the origin lies…
An inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width would be the minimum required information for us to be able to help you. (Personally Identifiable Information like serial numbers and MAC addresses will be filtered out by the above command)
Also, please copy-paste that output in-between 3 backticks ``` at the beginning and end of the code/text.
The output of journalctl --system --boot=0 --since=YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM where the first bit is obviously the date and HH:MM is the exact time to the minute of your computer coming back from sleep.

Thanks for the help!

I found out KDE is receiving a request from somewhere to disable the touchpad when I wake the PC up. That’s why I was seeing a “touchpad disabled” message on screen when I wake the PC.
Not sure if it’s a KDE bug or if my keyboard/touchpad combo simply sends the toggle enable/disable key code when it powers up.

It’s not a complete solution, but I simply set up a shortcut to the “Toggle Touchpad” action and I reenable the touchpad with that when it happens.
