Touch pad and screen broken after update - Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5

I freshly installed Manjaro KDE on a Laptop I bought, everything works very well ootb on a fresh install but as soon as I install the newest update, the touchpad and the touchscreen stop working. Any ideas why this might be happening?

try with a different kernel, install the 5.19 - not the rt one - from system settings/kernel, when done reboot and see if it helped

Tried 5.19 and 6.0, but both yield the same result, tochpad / screen not working. I can’t boot into 5.10 as it emits a kernel panic.

create this file:
kate /etc/modprobe.d/touchpad.conf
and put there this:

softdep hid-multitouch pre: pinctrl_amd
softdep i2c_hid pre: pinctrl_amd
softdep i2c_designware pre: pinctrl_amd
softdep wacom pre: pinctrl_amd

save the file, reboot and see if it helped… and try with the 5.15 and the 5.19 kernel

Sadly no change. Touchpad is still not recognized in KDE settings.

the same logs… yes it looks like the same issue… so you have to wait till its fixed in kernel

Same issue, fresh install works on first re-boot. Update breaks mousepad and touchscreen support. Lenovo Idea Pad Flex 5 14ALC7 Ryzen 5 5500U. Similar issues with other distros and kernels.

I can confirm that it works again with the 6.1.0rc2 Kernel.
