Hello, I’ve seen some similar topics here about this problem, but mine is a bit more complicated. It’s my fresh install of Manjaro (latest stable) and on boot it throws errors, asks for pressing enter and then do absolutely nothing.
[ TIME ] Timed out waiting for device /dev/disk/by-uuid/DOBA-5038
[DEPEND] Dependency failed File N /dev/disk/by-uuid/DOBA-5038

You are in emergency mode. After logging in, type "journalctl - xb" to view system logs, "systemctl reboot" to reboot, "systemctl default" or "exit" to boot into default mode.
Cannot open access to the console, root account is blocked. More information on guide page sulogin(8).
Please press enter to continue.
Reloading system manager configuration
Starting default target
And after pressing enter, I see blinking underscore forever.
Okay so I don’t want to reinstall it because installation took about 5 hours. I’m dual booting with windows 10 on another drive. I’ve did manual partition while installing, boot loader set to target drive, MBR, 4 GB for /boot/efi, and all space left to /, no swap because I have 16 GB RAM
Please read this: How to provide good information
and post some more information so we can see what’s really going on. Now we know the symptom of the disease, but we need some more probing to know where the origin lies…
Boot the Manjaro USB stick again and provide the output of an inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width (Personally Identifiable Information like serial numbers and MAC addresses will be filtered out by the above command)
Please copy-paste that output in-between 3 backticks ``` at the beginning and end of the code/text
Because this:
sounds wrong and the above provides us with full system information to help you further.
P.S. If you enter a bit more details in your profile, we can also see which Desktop Environment you’re using, which CPU/GPU or Kernel, … you have without typing it every time
In the future, when providing code/output, please copy-paste that output in-between 3 backticks ``` at the beginning and end of the code/text so that the output looks like this:
instead of like this:
(as that makes both our lives much easier)
No need to do anything right now as I’m an editor here on this site and have fixed it for you already. However, in the future I might not see your post so review my edits by pushing the orange pencil above the post I just fixed.
Kernel 5.9 is EOL please install both 5.4 and 5.10 LTS (Long Time Support) and see which one troubles you least.
If you plan on playing games, use the proprietary (non-free) drivers
By this point, I agree with @maycne.sonahoz : Re-install is going to be easier.
