Thunderbird freezes

I just installed the latest updates and the new Thunderbird (115.2.0) now hangs all the time. First it only hang when adding a calendar event and now it always hangs 30 seconds after launching. The only thing I can do is kill the process. Is this a known issue?

I am on Manjaro XFCE but I am using i3 as the window manager.

Running it from a terminal doesn’t show anything interesting:

Well, it would appear so, because another poster just reported a similar thing…
