I’d certainly recommend getting the latest official Manjaro .ISO rather than trying to do repairs from a Debian/Ubuntu based distro. That way, you’ll have access to the manjaro-chroot tool
I also recommend this:
When you are in the chroot environment (manjaro-chroot -a should do this automagically) you’ll then be able to provide some System Info (inxi -zv8c0).
