removing optimus-manager worked, but I really want to be able to switch between integrated and dedicated graphic cards, so is there any alternative? or even better, a fix?
I have absolutely no idea, since I don’t use hybrid graphics or even a laptop.
But I’m thinking that you have to have the hybrid drivers installed. Check wit:
mhwd --listinstalled
And:
mhwd --list
Post the output if you wish us to take a look for you.

I almost think you’ll have to install the hybrid drivers first:
mhwd --install pci video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-prime
IIRC anyway.
And if it doesn’t work, switch to tty2
and remove it:
sudo mhwd --remove pci video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-prime
However, I once again put my disclaimer here that this is only guesswork.
Tried it, does not work at all
Well, I’m out of ideas.
But, see How to provide good information and, if applicable, [HowTo] post screenshots and links
That would be neccessary for anyone other trying to help. In fact, I should’ve asked earlier.

It states the driver as N/A
, so my guess is still that it’s the driver, somehow.
Try installing it:
mhwd --install pci video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-prime
And then removing the video-linux
one:
mhwd --remove pci video-linux
Followed by rebooting.
Edit:
If that works, report back with another, new inxi
output for us.
here is my inxi output
The driver appeared, but somehow the system does not boot without removing optimus-manager

have you followed the instruction in this page?
though i don’t know if that’s related to your issue.
also, here is a picture of the output while the boot failed (when the optimus-manager was installed)
So I think maybe the optimus-manager removes the driver as it saids N/A?
yep. I followed the guide lines exactly, including installing the nvidia drivers
Somehow I missed this.
Kernel 5.13 is EOL (End Of Life) and no longer supported. I recommend using an LTS version:
mhwd-kernel --install linux510
Followed by rebooting, selecting Advanced… options in the grub menu and choosing version 5.10. Then, when successfully booted, removing version 5.13:
mhwd-kernel --remove linux513
Edit:
I’m not sure if it’s related, but it might have something to do with your struggles now.
No, it looks as if it’s there, from what I can see.
Do you mean 510? Because it returns
Error: Please make sure if the given kernel(s) exist(s).
available kernels:
* linux414
* linux419
* linux44
* linux49
* linux510
* linux513
* linux514
* linux515
* linux54
* linux510-rt
what is Linux 610?isn’t it 510?
You are correct! Sorry, my mistake.
Indeed, It was my mistake, and I’ve since corrected it.
I did update, but now my wifi doesn’t work
I guess it’s unsupported in this kernal version
I will try to install optimus and report back
Could be, yes. I suggest then trying version 5.15 as it’s the latest LTS.
Edit:
After some googling it does seem that you need kernel version 5.12 or higher. So, at least theoretically, you’ll need version 5.15, yes.
