You should consider updating system BIOS
https://www.asus.com/us/supportonly/P553UJ/HelpDesk_BIOS/

System data shows 2 sound servers running

  Sound Server-3: PulseAudio v: 15.0 running: yes
  Sound Server-4: PipeWire v: 0.3.40 running: yes

did

pamac install manjaro-pipewire

rebooted cause why not,
mic volume 47%
when the adapter is plugged in, the noise is not that loud and my voice can be heard quite clearly
when unplugged, the noise is very loud and my voice is barely audible.
alright updated bios and the output of inxi above

also did

systemctl --user disable --now pipewire.socket pipewire.service && systemctl --user mask pipewire.socket

on the live environment didn’t work

Since no more replies, here’s the solution I found
Echo Cancellation: PulseAudio - ArchWiki
Lower mic volume
