I’ve been using Manjaro for almost three months now, worked just like breeze . But after the latest update, a peculiar thing happened, after I boot and login, the screen is blank with just a cursor for about 5-10 seconds, then the desktop appears,. Also the startup time has significantly increased, it is now 45-50 seconds while previously it was shown to be 30-32 seconds (using systemd-analyze). If I run systemd-analyze blame
, polkit.service
is taking 13-15 seconds !! (it was 2-4 seconds before the update), and the network-wait-online.service
is also 5-7 seconds. Please help.
[My specs: HP 250 G6 Laptop,
Dual boot with Windows 10 (330 GB for Manjaro),
CPU - Intel i3 6006U,
RAM - 8 GB,
Storage - 1 TB HDD 5400 rpm]
P.S - Hearing the advice of @j8a , I’m attaching the output of inxi -Fazy
