pamac-manager crashes from the UI. Get this from CLI. How to fix?

zsh: segmentation fault (core dumped) pamac-manager
The meta package has only the purpose to update to the next kernel when dropped. It actually doesnât care about EOL at all. Kernel ges dropped, next in line gets installed.
Those who actively maintain their kernels most likely never get those meta packages installed. They act more as a safety net.
Did this just change with this latest update? What is the proper way to revert from v11.7 to v10.7 ? pamac seems to run OK from the terminal. Occasionally pamac-manager will start from the terminal but repeatedly gives:
Gdk-WARNING **: 06:21:31.664: âŚ/gtk/gdk/wayland/gdkcursor-wayland.c:210 cursor image size (32) not an integer multiple of theme size (24)
Okay I think I see. Now that I uninstalled all the meta packages, they wonât get installed automatically again and in the future I can manage kernels myself as easily as before? That would be fine for me, thank you!
Hi GuysâŚ
I am having some weird trouble. I logout from Plasma, switch to a console, and run sudo pacman -Syu and after downloading all the packages, it try to update and abort with âexists in filesystemâ. But I canât find information in pacman.log.
What should I do? Do I need to use --overwrite? Itâs the first time in several years that I get this error.
The new wire-desktop 3.37.3607-1 has a bug (issue for Win created on github); the functions of the right-click menu in the text input field donât work anymore.
As an easy work-around use the top âEditâ menu or the key combinations that are shown there.
When I try to uninstall kernel 6.11 using removing linux611 breaks dependency 'linux611' required by linux-meta from above.
I get this: error: target not found: linux611-nvidia error: target not found: linux-nvidia-meta
When I try through the settings manager I get removing linux611 breaks dependency 'linux611' required by linux-meta
So how do I go about removing 6.11?
