As you can see, so far I’m stuck. It’s not config. It may be a hardware issue, but it had to be introduced in some package, so finding it would be helpful. I could downgrade it and report a bug. But so far, there is not much help from others and I have too little experience with sound system. It’s too complex and even if I tried reading about it in the past, it was too confusing and unclear.
I had that issue, but I discovered that but with Win 11 running on the VM, I selected ‘bridged’ → [OK] and then back to ‘NAT’ → [OK] in the settings, and it works under NAT.
Hi @mirto…
Many of us have the same problem. There is no solution (at least not consistent) but there is a workaround that consist in disabling session restore in KDE.
In the post you mention, the workaround is posted on the second page, post #28 and #29 (29 is a recap of 28). Additionally of the workaround I mention above, they mention that switching to wayland may solve it too. I can attest to that but may be you wish to try. Disabling restore session allowed me to boot/restart/logout again but contrary of what users described there, the problem for me returns after I enable it again, that is why (for me at least) is not a solution.
Try out and tell us if this work for you!
Everything’s fine, and that last version of Thunderbird now works with my touchscreen, that’s a really good thing! (Lenovo Thinkpad, Gnome Wayland on intel graphic).
