I’m running a Windows 10 VM with QEMU and am having problems with the VM freezing up after boot after completing this Manjaro update. I’m pretty sure the VM is running, but the display becomes completely unresponsive. For the VM, I’m using the QXL video with spice. The problem seems to go away if I change the video configuration to VGA or Virtio. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?
Similar, but not the same; I tried using a Real-Time Kernel, and found that VMs would “lock up” after a period of time and have to be terminated. If you’re using a RT Kernel, try changing it for a standard one.
I’m using 6.6 LTS and my fallback is 6.1 LTS. Perhaps I should try 6.11?
Thanks for the reply, it was worth checking. (I use Oracle VirtualBox, by the way, rather than QEMU, so it was a bit of a guess on my part, really).
