i can’t access internet with my main user. ping, route, traceroute all is working. Also I can access all my intranet devices but no address outside in the internet through browsers. I’m able to access the internet with a textbased browser like lynx. I also created a new user who has no restrictions.
So the problem might be with some user settings. After several hours I dont know where to look.

If Firefox is your browser, take a look at this post:
If you’re having trouble with #firefox , try disabling HTTP3 in about:config with the ‘network.http.http3.enabled’ key. After setting this and restarting Firefox everything worked again.
It doesn’t depend on the browser. I tried chrome, brave, vivaldi, opera and firefox.
You’ll need to tell us more about your system.
Welcome to Manjaro!
To allow all of us helpful people on this forum TO HELP YOU, we need some basic information about your system. This probably means you described the symptoms of your problem, but now we need some more information to know where the origin of your issue is exactly.
Someone else probably linked you to this tutorial, so if you’re reading this in response to a question, please click the link above this text to bring you to the full and unabridged text of the tutorial…

I’m pretty sure all of those ‘big’ browsers forcibly enact their own DNS unless you otherwise change that setting.
Maybe worth looking?

Do you need some more info?
Thanks! I changed the DNS settings. That didn’t change anything.

Do you use anything else that could mitigate the connections?
A network shaper? Firewall? Special router settings?
No firewall, no special DNS or router settings. The new user is on the same computer, so it can’t be the router or global settings. I renamed the whole ~/.config and got a new virgin one. But no changes.
I deleted ~/.mozilla. Now I’m able to connect to the internt via firefox.
Where are these directories for vivaldi, brave, chrome?
~/.config/chromium
~/.config/google-chrome
I never used the other two - but it’s likely also in that directory
I renamed these two directories (even ~/.config/vivaldi) but this didn’t change anything.
After firefox was running but not the chrome based browsers, I tried everything with these broken browsers. deleting all browser data, resetting to factory defaults etc.pp. nothing worked. Than I remebered * have timeshift installed an dtried it for the very first time. And bähm all worked again.
I guess the reason was that I shutdown my system to “standby” which disrupted my system not for the first time.
Now I’m very happy about timeshift!
