Some of these libraries may not be found correctly (Anaconda the cause here?)

Does anyone have experience with this kind of error when installing a QT application? My guess is, anaconda has something to do with it in the present case. I am thankful for any help.

Hi @Fabby , thanks for the advice! Done.

It seems your local Anaconda installation is confusing things, yes.

You can build it in a clean chroot to avoid conflicts:

sudo pacman -Syu --needed base-devel manjaro-chrootbuild yay # Install needed tools
mkdir temp && cd temp # or wherever you want
yay -G lightly-qt # Download the PKGBUILD from the AUR
sudo chrootbuild -p lightly-qt -c
sudo pacman -U /var/lib/chrootbuild/build/lightly-qt-0.4-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

Thank you for the advice. Wouldn´t it be more fruitful to reinstall anaconda to avoid those things in the future?

We can’t answer that for you:

  • You know why and how you installed anaconda originally
  • You now know what the disadvantages are of your own installation methodology.

Up to you to decide!

:+1:

P.S. Before you do, please take a crash-proof backup first!
