Snap Applications seem to have stopped working (cannot attach cgroup program: Operation not permitted)

I noticed that after the last upgrade the snap applications don’t start any more. I tried with MakeMkv and Spotify.

When starting a snap application from the terminal (even with sudo), I get the the following line:

cannot attach cgroup program: Operation not permitted

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I need at least MakeMKV to work since I paid for the software and I currently need it.

OK so after reading THIS post, I upgraded to kernel 5.15.2-2 and the apps started working again, though with some warrning:


Qt: Session management error: None of the authentication protocols specified are supported
QApplication: invalid style override passed, ignoring it.
    Available styles: Windows, Fusion
