Slowdown in Manjaro ARM development?

I was using kernel kernel 6.8.9 in testing.

However I now changed to unstable, unfortunately wifi does not connect now, but I will post about that in the unstable thread.

Yes a lot of things, Mesa updated, Plasma got updated so we have many devices which have black screen issue,

I am looking into it but as we have so many device it is taking longer.

Hopefully we should have some update on stable soon.

Hi! I wanted just ask how are things looking with the development of a new stable release:

• are you seeing glimmers of hope?
• or are you still knee deep into a nightmare, fighting multiple bleeding edge software (mesa, panfrost, and plasma not playing nicely with each other, etc.)

The last Manjaro arm unstable up date (2024.09.15) are looking good, in my case 4 devices are now working well, others Manjaro arm users report the success up date on their own devices :-)

Hi ARM Community, after a long period of time ALARM managed to sync to a more current toolchain with Arch x86 again. Additionally this sync includes also Python 3.12 updates, Plasma 6.1, KDE Frameworks 6.5, KDE Gear 24.08, Gnome 46.1, LxQT 2.0, Systemd 255.6 to name a few. A full list of updates can be found here. Now when I found this thread I really think its time to move away from arm version. If its really based on archarmlinux ( which I believe is still one man show ) and also asahi linux guys moved from it for good reasons ( my opinion ). Honestly I moved from archarmlinux to manjaro not knowing its just the same thing
