What’s the general guidance about pulse-audio conflicts?

Where there’s a link to this post, but I’m wondering why it’s not mentioned in the “release notes”. I remember some time ago, where Pulse Audio was a problem, too.

sudo pacman -R pulseaudio-ctl pulseeffects-legacy scream-pulse

And specific to my system (i guess?), .

sudo pacman -R  pulseaudio-arctis-pro-wireless

I’m not sure if the Arctic Pro package are the reason why it didn’t rent smoothly. By taking a look at this post, I guess not.

those are all either AUR or even non existing packages.
Remove non existing ones and for the AUR packages: try updating if they were adjusted to current package provides.

I’ve moved your post to AUR as it didn’t belong in the previous thread.

@Pound_Hash: This tool doesn’t work with PipeWire, only PulseAudio.
