Looks like there is no driver loaded for the wifi controller.
There is an (outdated) AUR firmware package available that might help, but that’s just me guessing.
Better wait for someone more knowledgeable for competent help.

See this

These look like totally different chips though?

They both can use the MT7601U driver. The OP is tying to run the binary one they downloaded
Some people use this firmware AUR (en) - mt7601u-firmware but is out of date
Others use this AUR (en) - mt7601u-ap-dkms
On the other hand can be done like this [Solved] MT7601U USB Wireless Adapter doesn't work / Newbie Corner / Arch Linux Forums
Are both Ralink and from the information from OP i can’t be sure they do not connected it to a USB3 port, hence not recognized properly …

Gawd, that’s complicated.
Thanks!

I used this the third link you sent but not working

Sorry for sending picture
I get these when dongle is plugged
What can i do ?:frowning::sob:

Edit
I had another compiled driver but it was same

Any one can help me ?
I tried use driver in live ubuntu but it is still like that :point_up_2::point_up_2:

This might be due to a hardware problem of the USB to parallel port converter or the cable itself inside your case. That will happen indefinitely till you solve it. Also can be due to the way is set in BIOS. Maybe make it to be just USB1.1 instead of USB2 from BIOS settings … Have you tried other ports ?

Also, have you thought of updating the BIOS ?

You have the 2.2 version and there is 2.3 version.

when i disable driver it’s not happening

so idont think it’s about BIOS :woman_shrugging::woman_shrugging::woman_shrugging:

and it’s work well on windows 10 in this system

It also happens in other disto

any other idea ? :sob: :sob:

i download driver from mediatek site

But it for old kernels

There is a problem with device, not configuration.

well device works great in windows :face_with_head_bandage: :sleepy:
