From this output, I’m seeing that you already have it installed, or what exactly is your problem?

I have a heap of issues with AUR packages that have corrupted the system so I decided to download a fresh image and install it.

So, adding “ibt=off” did not work / was not necessary for you to install and boot.
Now your “actual problem” is a rather vague

which can mean almost anything
(is not an “actual problem”)

No, you don’t. The person that created the thread you linked to has Intel + NVIDIA hybrid graphics. By your system info, you do not. Therefore, the topic is completely unrelated.

That’s another subject altogether. Please create a separate topic in AUR.

What does that mean?

Then you just negated everything you just said and wasted everyone’s time. Please create a new topic with actual information that can help us help you.
