Polkit dialog freezes on authentication if screen was blanked before authenticating

I installed manjaro-log-helper…you want them all…

but… either it doesn’t recognize my manjaro partition &/or there is no “OK” to click after choosing the logs to save.

I launched pamac from the terminal & no errors were displayed…I got this …

That’s because it’s not an issue with Pamac as we already went over.

Nothing related there.

How about:

Enclose all that in a text box, as you did before, so that the output is more readable. I’m sure it will be appreciated.

Out of interest, do you notice any difference if you don’t use autologin? I don’t mean just turn it off and back on; set a normal password login for a day, reboot a few times, and see what difference (if any) that reveals.

Need to use journalctl -p debug for it to be formatted

…and…

  • This post from some random Manjaro Team Member.
  • One of the links given
  • Which would have led you to this.

No charge.

Oh well…

for what it’s worth (I think the more cool acronym is: FWIW).
The issue is NOT dependent on auto-login.

I see the exact same behavior with normal login (no auto login).

It was worth checking.

indeed it was :+1:

Well, if you don’t care, then neither do we.

EDIT: Waiting for a properly formatted log.
