suddenly I can’t start systemmonitor from the menu. I hear HDD that a process try to start but it does nothing.
I tried to do it via konsole but it does do nothing either.
Just
$ plasma-systemmonitor
$
no messages, no errors
What happend?

Hi,
It works on my side after this update, did you try to reinstall the software ?
[nicolas@nls-pc ~]$ plasma-systemmonitor
QML debugging is enabled. Only use this in a safe environment.

Probably the program segfaulted. Did you check it’s exit code when starting from command line ?
$ echo $?
To view a list of core dumps use
$ coredumpctl
yes, I reinstalled it but it is still the same (nothing)
I’m not sure what to expect but I can’t find any info.
I do something in wrong way probably.
$ plasma-systemmonitor
$ echo $?

That output says plasma-systemmonitor
executes and exits normally without any problems.
As there were some people who installed -git
versions of kde/plasma packages, please check yours:
$ pacman -Qs '\-git$'
the result is:
local/kconfig-git .r773.gb57c7ad-1 (kf5-git)
Configuration system
local/ki18n-git .r436.gf88e694-1 (kf5-git)
Advanced internationalization framework
local/kirigami2-git .r2625.gd246695d-1 (kf5-git)
A QtQuick based components set
local/krecorder-git r75.gc156ea7-1
Audio recorder for Plasma Mobile and other platforms
I installed kde-manjaro from iso and then updated it us pamac sugested.
What did I wrong and how to correct problems?
Don’t know what went wrong but those few *-git
packages don’t match your system and have to be replaced. Try explicitly installing their counterparts and answer “yes” when asked to replace:
$ sudo pacman -S kconfig ki18n kirigami2 krecorder

I installed ki18n kconfig and kirigami2 using pamac. This action removed ki18n-git kconfig-git , kirigami2-git and krecorder-git.
pacman -Qs '-git
returns nothing (empty string).
plasma-systemmonitor
It works after restart. Thank you.
additionally
You help me to solve my other problem
For some reason, krecorder 0.1
is not in the X64 repos yet. So it only has krecorder-git.
yes, I noticed that it was something wrong. Thank you for note.
I started to use Audio Recorder in Launchpad
I used it when I used Mint.
With this app I can choose source and quality of mp3.
