Plasma Application Launcher Empty (Unstable)

Has anyone noticed when the applications launcher broke? Perhaps with the last array of qt6 updates?

On mine the launcher is working with no issues.Before upgrading to plasma 6 I did reset themes and icons back to the defaults which was breeze.You might try and check to make sure everything upgraded and works on plasma 6.

Also cannot reproduce with either the ‘simple application launcher’ or the default.

Yeah, better to reboot first and if not fixed yet, then to try Arch wiki: Clean cache to resolve KDE upgrade problems and to reboot once more.

The golden rule — which nobody follows, of course — when using a rolling-release distribution…: Always apply the bundled updates by way of the command line in a tty while completely logged out of your graphical environment, so that no shared libraries will be in use that will be overwritten by the update process. The safest way even would be to cleanly reboot your system first before applying any updates, and to then switch to a tty and run the update process from there without logging into…
