Parent control for pc

Hi,
For my children I installed manjaro KDE and atm they love it.
But I want to have control of the PC like Google family or something like that.
I have in my network a control of the time they could use for internet. This is working but they don’t should play hours on the pc.
Is there an application that could handle my (and maybe other parents wishes too) ?

This is not something I have experience of, but there are couple of things you could read as starters:

KDE’s kiosk mode may be a good place to start. I don’t have any personal experience using it, so I can’t offer any tips.

It should be pretty simple to set up Systemd timers to ensure that the screen is locked or unlocked at times you want.

A bit joking, and indeed not really seriously ment … but on the other hand it is true …

In another topic, one of our Community Assistants @scotty65 mentions timekpr-next which might achieve what you want.

It looks to be maintained and current.

Naturally, being from the AUR, the usual warnings apply; that the AUR is not officially supported by Manjaro (or Arch), and that the Unstable branch is recommended for those who choose to use AUR, irrespective of warnings.

And a two-year-old discussion about the topic, generally;

Hope this is helpful.
