Not that i’m aware of, and not reproducible on my end in KDE Plasma Git install, Gnome and KDE Plasma testing branches.
What happens if you run: sudo pacman-mirrors -f && sudo pacman -Syyu
? Are any pending updates still ?

Still not opening… Says something about flatpak in op…
Removing the plugin of pamac should not have issues creating to use flatpaks. You only loose a graphical manager for it. During my tests in v10 of Pamac we also had issues to open Pamac when either snaps or flatpak plugin was activated. I’ve to double check if that is also the case on the current v9.5 release series.
It was a logical must to provide links to a known issue that got fixed.
Please let me know what is the terminal output for: cat /etc/xdg/kde-mimeapps.list
@philm - i did a test with a fresh install, no issue whatsoever. Also enabled flatpak on another, older install and got no issue. I can install, update, downgrade as i want … Flatpaks work too.
It’s after upgrade that I got the issue… But I just ran flatpak upgrade command and got

Dunno what this means coz pamac did not see those updates. As soon as I re-install flatpak-plugin and refresh mirrors pamac dies… So clearly something in flatpak is breaking it…Anyway, until it’s fixed I have re-installed plugin but left it disabled…
I have somehow fixed the issue by installing gnome-software to manage my flatpak packages.
When i opened it auto-upgraded 9 flatpaks “Platform” packages and libraries, even though In pamac there was no flatpak upgrade avalaible until yesterday.
Then i reinstalled pamac-flatpak-plugin and now pamac-manager just works, even with flatpak plugin enabled.
