“Oh no! Something has gone wrong.” On login

Hi I updated my system and when I rebooted, I couldn’t login. I just get this message:
Oh no! Something has gone wrong.
A problem has occurred and the system can’t recover. All extensions have been disabled as a precaution.

So far I have tried to reinstall gnome-shell, reinstall gnome-session, remove the pacman cache with paccache, and manually disabling gnome extensions.

What can I do?

I hope this is enough information. I’m still learning a lot about using Linux, so bear with me, and let me know if you need any additional information.

Welcome to the forum!

Well, were you able to login with all extensions disabled?

No. I tried again right after the first message. When that didn’t work, I tried the other things I listed.

This ended up being the solution.
I also experienced the choppiness described. I hope that is also gone now.
