Not booting into Manjaro

Hi. I have been using manjaro for a year. Usually when I run into any issues I chroot and run an fsck or restore from timeshift. This time, manjaro was working fine, but the graphics started being laggy. Videos played were being choppy. I did a forced restart, and I cannot boot into manjaro after that.
I tried booting from a live usb and running fsck. It could not access the home directory in the beginning. After the fsck, it shows the home directory but on entering it does not show any folders. I then tried to restore from timeshift. However timeshift gets stuck and shows “updating bootloader configuration”.
Is there any thing I can do get back my old installation or is a new installation the only method.
Thanks in advance. I am really new and any leads would be appreciated.

Hello @titir24! Please provide some information on your system, since you cannot access your previous installation, boot to a live env and run inxi -Fazy command. How to provide good information

What should I do now?

You shouldn’t have done that, you should have just restarted manually

Never mind, inxi -Fazy doesn’t give much info I guess, try this :- inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width

By forced restart, I meant I switched it off and then restarted normally. Sorry for the miscommunication.

Yeah, I actually also meant that
