No sound (Dummy Output) on ASUS Zenbook S14 Lunar Lake under 6.12.0-rc2

Hi, I am running 6.12.0-rc2-2-MANJARO, the bluetooth works fine on my end but I could not fix the sound issue.

There is no output (output device is always Dummy Output) and no input device.

It has difficulty detecting the sound card:

It suggests me to install sof-firmware but it is already installed:

Great news! I found a new version of sof-firmware released four days ago:

installing this gives me ability to hear.

I have marked your post as the solution because I had not considered sof-firmware would help with this issue and I was not aware that a new version of package had been released

Previous generations of Zenbooks were patched in the kernel by ALSA developers so I was not expecting SOF drivers to provide full support for the onboard audio device and the smart amplifiers driving the speakers
