I’ve tried restarting, i’ve also looked at other discussions about the same topic but couldn’t find any solution that works.

Your audio is detected - you can deduce that from the driver assignment - so you have to use the available controls to make the audio find it’s way to the speakers.

Can you please elaborate a bit more? I’m like a bit new to linux

Based on the information provide - I cannot

Search results for 'configure audio' - Manjaro Linux Forum
Search results for 'only dummy output available' - Manjaro Linux Forum

can you be a bit more specific, I cannot find out the issue
maybe you can have a look at this
https://alsa-project.org/db/?f=36bd4410c3ad89d95dfa633a0e4a69a6e6a9133d

You could try the non-SOF driver:
file: /etc/modprobe.d/sound.conf

options snd-intel-dspcfg dsp_driver=1

It should load snd_hda_intel now after a reboot. However since the new driver is firmware depended, there are not much options.

journalctl --boot 0 --dmesg --grep "snd|sof"

Keep in mind that a dualboot with windows can also disturb with such chipsets.

tried the non-sof driver earlier but it didn’t work

journalctl --boot 0 --dmesg --grep "snd|sof":

Could it be that you didn’t install sof-firmware ?

not sure but i thought i saw sof-firmware installed in the first place when I freshly installed Manjaro, not I tried to install it again.

Another thing, when I try to use the non-sof driver, is that in the sound settings, I see a thing named “Pro audio” under Built-in-audio which Is set to “Off” and the other option is “Pro audio”. what does that mean?

Patch for this system should be available in kernel 6.10

[04/12] ASoC: Intel: soc-acpi: mtl: add support for Acer Swift Go 14 - Patchwork

ASoC: Intel: updates for 6.10 - part 5

This device has an RT712 on link0, but does not rely on RT1712 for the
DMIC. PCH-attached DMICs are used instead.

i’ve installed the newest kernel(6.10) but the issue remains the same
