Welcome to Manjaro!
- Please read this:
How to provide good information
and post some more information so we can see what’s really going on. Now we know the symptom of the disease, but we need some more probing to know where the origin lies… - An
inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width
would be the minimum required information… (Personally Identifiable Information like serial numbers and MAC addresses will be filtered out by the above command)
Also, please copy-paste that output in-between 3 backticks ``` at the beginning and end of the code/text. - Does this also happen when you create a new user and log in there? (E.G.

& yes, i tried creating new user too
- You’re on an AMD GPU machine with 6GB RAM without swap
- I don’t run discord
so I can’t help you any further so let’s hope one of our users uses Discord on an AMD and is able to help you more intelligently than me!
No solution, but for reference. I run gnome stable with a nvidia gpu and proprietary drivers and can see screens to share with the client from the community repository. (Stable 89294 (f4e00f9)) There are other clients as in snaps iirc that could be old or not work correctly and probably some AUR options to. Are you up to date? Does your journal spit out any useful info journalctl --follow
or throw any errors when starting from the terminal?
It might be GPU related.
Set up swap
I’ve installed from official repo & it’s always up to date. i tried XFCE recently & it was working there so idt it’s because of swap partition.

Sorry for not being clear: swap is not related to your specific problem it’s just better for a 6GB machine…
