I am accessing Gnome over XRDP and ThinLinc. The situation is the same. The sudo privilege dialogue (polkit, I guess) itself is working with all the apps l have tried.
If I right click a directory in Nautilus, and click “Open as Administrator”, it does not open the sudo dialogue, but just opens a new window of Home, with a message dialogue box that says:
Oops! something went wrong, don’t have permission to access the requested location
Can I fix this? At the moment, I cannot access the computer locally. Well, I can, but it will be very cumbersome, because it currently has no monitors or GPU attached.
