Mysterious voice behaviour

  1. When the my Manjaro Linux is started/restarted, there is no sound (internal speakers are muted totally) and there appear no sound devices in the Sound settings, only a virtual one.
  2. If you connect a speaker via Bluetooth, then it sounds well, however after switching it off again there is no sound.
  3. If you plug in a headphone via jack, it also sounds and when you unplug it, the sound remains: the internal speakers work well.
It’s a completely new behaviour, I have no idea where it came from. It can be repeated any number of times. So, when I boot Linux, I have to plug in a jack for a moment to get sound.

In more detail
Yesterday suddenly I lost the internal sound. At the sound setting there is only a virtual output device. I switched back to the previous kernel, it did not help.

The inner speakers do not work. However if I connect a headphone by a jack, it is well working. Even, pulling off the headphone, now the inner speakers work, too! Then I opened the sound settings and a list of audio outputs appeared. But switching to any other output immediately mutes the sound and the list disappears. I can repeat this experiment.

Thanks for any answer, jBalint

All previous mysterious phenomena have been healed. I just kept downloading all the updates. I did nothing else. My system is just perfect now. Many thanks for your careful work!
