MSM Notifications does not respect settings

I have configured the MSM Notifications settings to only notify for new LTS kernels. I have noticed that it will pop-up a notication for any new kernel, like now when 5.16 hit the stable channel. As far as I know and can see 5.16 is not an LTS release. Anything I am missing here?
