Mesa package upgrade

warning: mesa: ignoring package upgrade (1:25.2.1-2 => 1:25.2.1-4)

I put the mesa package to ignore in pacman.conf.

Wondering when it might be OK to take it out of the ignore list?

So, why have you put it to the ignore list? Was it because of the error in the repo? It was mistakenly set to mesa-1:25.2.1-2, wich is resolved since a few days now. Mesa is now mesa-1:25.2.1-4 for stable branch .

Current Mesa 1:25.2.x is not behaving well with a Qemu virtual box containing a virtual linux (debian and manjaro unstable). The qemu box is always running out of memory after 10 minutes, crashing the whole session. Downgrading to 1:25.1.7 resolves the issue…

…as the OP has not answered now , maybe we are talking about different things.

It was saying that 1:25.2.1-4 was newer when I ran pacman, not sure if that’s an error per se but wanted to avoid any potential problems as I already had the newer version.

…this is resolved since 4 days, clean your ignore list and update.
