Manjaro maia accent color not applying everywhere (gnome 47)

Hi,

I have a problem with gnome 47 accent colors : I love manjaro Maia accent color but it’s not applying everywhere. Sometime the Green color is used instead. For example :

If I choose another color in gnome accent colors, it’s applied everywhere, except in the quick settings menu.

Is there a bug, or am I missing something?

thanks,

Denis

If I’m reading it correctly, installing/using accent-color-change might produce favourable results.

sudo pacman -S accent-color-change

Thanks for your help, accent-color-change script does improve things a lot.

There is some places where green colors remains, though :

For example, after running the script:

You could try adjusting the global accent color, in case that helps.

In KDE that can be changed via:

  • System Settings:
    Colours & ThemesGlobal ThemeColours

And a dropdown then allows these choices:

  • Accent colour from colour scheme
  • Accent colour from wallpaper
  • Custom accent colour

I’m uncertain what the equivalent is in Gnome, or whether changing anything will affect the green pictures.

It’s a known issue. I have not figured out how to solve that yet.

…is only is applicable to Gtk3 and Gtk4 applications when using adw-gtk-theme and applying Adw-gtk3 / Adw-gtk3-dark for legacy applications.
