Gnome 47 Accent Colours Not Working Except for Shell

I’m finding that if I change my accent colour it changes the colour on the Shell drop down but it doesn’t affect any of the apps (GTK4 or otherwise) which now stay as MAIA green.

I assume this is being locked up somewhere and I’m missing something - I’ve tried making changes in the main Gnome Settings, via Tweaks and via GDM Settings and can’t get anything beyond the core shell to change.

I’m a bit confused about why you say it’s different from the topic you linked to as you seem to have the same issue based your description.

For GNOME users, one can now match the system accent color with Gtk3 applications with adw-gtk-theme >= 5.5-2. I’ve now added accent-color-change to the repos. It’s a script to change the accent color for Gtk3 and Gtk4 applications that do not use Libadwaita created by the author of adw-gtk3 (adw-gtk-theme in the repos). EDIT: Updated with new script.
