Manjaro live stick works with fujitsu, but not msi

I just dd new downloaded manjaro iso into usb stick. Gave up trying to make it boot on msi laptop, but it works on first attempt on fujitsu laptop without tinkering bios setting.

If said bios on msi is wrongly set, but it can boot a ventoy usb straight away, just not the newly created manjaro stick?

Almost smashed msi laptop… So sick of fixing the broken os on msi laptop.

I do know that it use to be linux iso got uefi support, legacy support, even hybrid… some are not a live iso… But impossible manjaro iso will be of those olden day type… so, where is the problem? anyway to check the iso or usb stick( instead of guessing around)?

Which ISO file, exactly?
Have you checked the checksum?
Have you dd’d like described here?
Are you booting the key in BIOS or UEFI mode?

What model exactly?
Ideally, post inxi -Fza after booting the ventoy usb key.

Thanks for trying to help.
I have done many things… :
redownload iso.
dd again
more tinkering with bios setting.
and finally it is able to go straight into live usb…
Either bios setting issue or dd issue.

Consider this thread solve . Hence close. I don’t want to find out what’s the problem now. As long as it does not appears again. I need to fix the broken os first… else have no properly computer to use.
Thanks.

Will do.
