Is this a fresh installation on a partition in which the disk space is previously unused?

On SSD drives, generally you need to use the firstly used drive space for longer time to let the SSD “accustom” itself (internal paging, caching layer if available, etc depending the SSD technology).

So you might want to use Manjado KDE for a longer time first, say 1 week.

Interesting, I dont know if the baloo package finish searching index, or some package I was installed, but kde open app is faster now.

Generally speaking baloo is rarely a hog these days once it finishes its initial index.
Fresh install of KDE = new index = slow until finished.
