Well - Linux is very user friendly - it is just picky about whom to call friends 
If you expect it to work like Windows - Linux is not for you - this is even more true for a distribution based on Arch Linux.
- DaVinci Resolve is not in the official repos but AUR.
- AUR requires at a bare minimum - Manjaro testing branch - prefereably unstable branch.
So it is really up to you - are you up for the challenge - great keep on knocking - if not - have a nice day.
