Manjaro installieren auf Tuxedo

Hallo an alle,

Ihr kennt ja bestimmt noch diesen Thread

Daraufhin habe ich mir ganz zeitnah vor 14 Tage ein Tuxedo InfinityBook Pro 16
Gen8 bestellt was heute geliefert wurde.
Ich habe mir TuxedoOS garnicht erst angeschaut. Was vielleicht ein Fehler war.
Aber es sollte ja eh Manjaro drauf.
Nun tauchen Fragen auf und ich hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen.
Ich habe installiert das tuxedo-control-center
Das tuxedo-keaboard-dkms wird mitinstalliert.
Theoretisch sollte es jetzt 2 Kernel Module geben: tuxedo_io und tuxedo_keyboard
Diese 2 Module werden aber nicht gefunden, auch von modprobe nicht.
Kann wer helfen ?

Bin ich der einzige, der die Frage nicht versteht? Du sagst die Module laufen nicht und dann sagst du die laufen doch…also…funktioniert jetzt dein Tastaturlicht oder nicht?

90 % der Sachen in deinem journal sind unwichtig, für den Rest bin ich nicht sicher, aber ich vermute - auch. Und ich würde eher -p3 schauen, level 4 produziert noch mehr Quatsch.

Sei nicht paranoid. Bugs gibt es immer, closed source firmware ohne linux Treiber auch. So sieht z.B. bei mir aus, auf völlig gesundes System.

Ich glaube das einzigste, was aus diesem Log evtl. weiterrescherschiert werden sollte, ist tatsächlich die Multimedia session manager. Kann aber nicht weiter helfen.

Manjaro has packages for Tuxedo - and for the -dkms packages you need the headers matching your installed kernels.

I am waiting for the InfinitiBook Pro 14 - but I have chosen the Tuxedo OS.

I want to dissect how the Tuxedo company implements their tools.

Ich habe das TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro 16 - Gen8
Tuxedo OS ist ja dabei. Aber mich um 2 Plattformen zu kümmern dafür fehlt mir die Zeit.
Die linux-header sind installiert.
Tuxedo-Control-Center ist installiert
tuxedo-keyboard-dkms wird automatisch mit installiert.
tuxedo-touchpad-switch habe ich installiert, weiß aber nicht ob das nötig war.

Diesen Fehler habe ich behoben. Trage i8042.nomux in Grub ein.

das hier nennen einige einen “kosmetischen fehler”. tatsache ist das schon sehr viele nach der bedeutung des fehlers gesucht und keine richtige antwort gefunden haben. der bug ist schon lange bekannt und wird einfach ignoriert. wirkliche auswirkung hat er offensichtlich nicht.

ich denke auch zum testen das die hardware einwandfrei läuft und kein versteckter garantiefall auftritt erstmal das original tuxedo-os zum testen installieren. @linux-aarhus hat dir den link zum nachträglichen runterladen ja schon geposted. dann kannst du auch gleich schauen welche treiber/module genutzt werden, das hilft wenns dann beim installieren von manjaro probleme gibt.

Der Fehler liegt an Plymouth
Habe das eben deinstalliert. Weiss immer noch nicht wozu man das braucht.
Das hat auch gleich den Fehler gelöst.
