Manjaro GNOME, setting menu for File-Sharing options disappeared

Hello Manjaro community,
time ago I was used to go into Manjaro Settings and under the menu voice on the left “Sharing” I could find the options for setting an easy File Sharing for the home network.

This option (red arrows) for the Sharing menu is not showing on the left menu anymore…
Last time I have used it, it was more than 1 year ago. Has there been any recent update that moved it somewhere else or remove it completely as a feature?

It was rarely used but very useful for an easy setup.
Any help? Am I missing any package?
What other info I can provide on my system that could be useful?

Thank you in advance!

File sharing in Manjaro usually requires additional packages that may not be installed by default. These may be helpful:

I’ll just add that in a freshly installed Gnome VM, all file sharing options seem to be in place awaiting activation. I imagine you may have inadvertantly removed needed packages at some point, or neglected to attend to required maintenance and/or updates.

Either way, working through the articles (previously linked) should get you back on track; barring unexpected circumstances.

Regards.

System Information

While information from *-fetch type apps might be fine for someone wishing to buy your computer, for Support purposes it’s better to ask your system directly; :eyes:

Output of the inxi command with appropriate parameters will achieve this (naturally, formatted according to forum guidelines) and will generally be more useful for those wishing to help:

inxi --filter --verbosity=8

or the short form:

inxi -zv8

I got the ISO from Manjaro’s website.

I knew it was something easy and I really did not remember that package name.
Thank you very much this solved my issue!
