KSysGuard Lost CPU and Network Tracking Post Update?

I just applied the latest set of updates on the stable branch, and lost KSysGuard’s CPU trackers and Network trackers.

I’m not sure what update I just applied, I looked in the announcements section of this forum, but the nearest post I saw is a month old, and I find it… improbable… that I missed that much time between updates, especially since I check them about once a day or two.

The sensors just don’t appear anymore. Same with inxi -s , it just returns N/A.

sarah@MidnightStarSign:~$ inxi -s

  Fan Speeds (RPM): N/A
GPU: device: nvidia screen: :0.0 temp: 46 C fan: 0% device: radeon

Any easy fix?

I can’t say that I’d be seeing the same thing over at my end. Everything’s working normally here.

:man_shrugging:

There hasn’t been an update announcement yet at this point in time, due to @philm having… um… created a forkthis kind.

:man_feeding_baby: :baby_bottle:

Once again it boils down to my suspicions regarding your mobo, @Sarah. :man_shrugging:

Hmm, so do you recommend that I contact the manufacturer about it?

I don’t think that this would be a motherboard issue though
Almost certainly OS-level.

Well, you do have those USB issues that keep on coming back. So perhaps, if it is still under warranty, you might appeal for a replacement.

KSysGuard has been deprecated for some time now. I suggest trying its replacement - plasma-systemmonitor.

Who told you that?

If you like it better: The default now is plasma-systemmonitor and not KSysGuard anymore.
