Kernel failing to boot on startup

I recommend installing a second kernel (5.10) just to be safe in case one gets compromised…
You can then remove linux59: sudo mhwd-kernel -r linux59

5.10 and 5.9 have usually failed on me so i’d rather use 5.4

Your pc, your choice. So are you saying you’re back in business?

Now, manjaro is working but the option to boot into windows is gone, any ideas?

It’s a known issue, please read the release/issue notes here:

https://forum.manjaro.org/t/stable-update-2021-03-08-kernels-plasma-5-21-2-haskell-kodi-grub-kde-dev

Alright, it worked. Kernel 5.9 is failing on me again and Kernel 5.10 won’t even show up, but I can fix these issues.
Thank you @anon88624618 for helping me along the way, really appreciate it. And thank you @stephane

@philm Could somebody please have a look at manjaro-chroot and its weird behaviour?

EDIT: Nevermind, maybe OP used an iso that’s older than 6 months:

@freggel.doe

@Manjaro-Team A fix exists for quite some time now:
