then open this file:
kate /etc/environment
and add there this line:

it will disable the useless kwin/qt logs
then reboot and if the audio still doesnt work provide output from:

you have this:

can't disable ASPM; OS doesn't have ASPM control

lets disable this, maybe it will help:
open again this file:
kate /etc/default/grub
and inside this line: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT - inside the quotes add these 2 parameters:
pci=nommconf pcie_aspm=off
dont remove any parameters, just add them to the existing ones
then save the file, update grub:
sudo update-grub
reboot and see if it helped

done. The problem persists. I was searching another ideas and maybe disabling pipewire and reinstalling pulseaudio could work, idk

theres nothing in logs … so we can try installing pulse and then disabling pipewire services …
and when you were in the live usb session did you try if the headphones work there?

yeah, I tryed and the headphones still didn’t work

so switching back to pulse wont work …
plug the speakers into pc and go to system settings/ audio and are the headphones detected there ? if yes try different profiles …

the headphones aren’t detected in system settings/ audio, and i’ve tested all profiles and a different headphone, that’s why i was so desperate :frowning:

thanks for your help, you were very kind to me.

wanted to suggest to try different headphones to test …
reboot and enter into bios and check if fast boot is disabled - however you may not have this option …
you can then go through bios settings and see if there are some settings/options related to audio

Fastboot is disabled(may I enable It?). The audio options are “HD Audio” (enabled), and HDMI Audio, was enabled but I disabled it.

no fast boot should be disabled …
and disabling the hdmi didnt work?

It still don’t recognize the headphones and There is no analogical profile. Maybe If we could make PipeWire create an analogical profile, or reinstall pulseaudio, maybe It should help

you can also try following things:
get yourself a usb to audio jack adapter, they are cheap and see if it works - if it does, then your jack in your pc is probably broken
check for a bios update for your motherboard
boot into a different live usb like linux mint and test if the headphones work there, to see if its a arch thing or a linux thing …

i dont know if creating a analog profile is possible … it look like the linux just doesnt detect the jack port in your pc, so try the options above, especially the one with linux mint

we can install again pulse and disable pipewire, but i dont think it will work, but we can try, but first try the live usb of linux mint for example

thank you, i’m going to try this

I tried with liveUSB of Manjaro XFCE and got the same problem, now tested with KDE Neon (It is Ubuntu based) and it worked very well, simply detectected the headphones with no problem, so I’m going to take it. Thanks for all your help. I love Manjaro, but I need sound to watch my classes.

But again, thanks for all your help and the time you dedicated to do It. Bye.

I don’t know where you were looking for this alleged lack of jack detection but it can’t have been in the ALSA data in OP
