Hi,
I am stuck with the installation of this device. I gave it various trials following this page. It didn’t work. The out of lsusb with the dongle plugged in is

That adapter was released with different chipsets, apparently:
ASUS USB-N13 rev B1 (0b05:17ab) • Realtek RTL8192CU
ASUS USB-N13 rev C1 (0b05:18f1) • Realtek RTL8192FU
So, if you have tried installing rtl8192CU and it doesn’t work, try installing
the updated rtl8xxxu-dkms-git ( last update Sept.2023) or maybe
rtl8192fu-dkms-git
Make certain that the appropriate linux kernel headers are installed for your running kernel. Also make sure that dkms is installed and that CUPS services are active .
Thanks a lot jrichard326 for your prompt answer and your efficiency. It worked straight forwards after I applied the command
pamac build rtl8xxxu-dkms-git
and rebooted. This is great!
It seems that you mixed up to posts. The second being related to a printing issue - you also mention the CUPS services which are related to the same point. Just to make sure that the other guy will get his answer.
