I3wm &/or xorg does not work after rebooting from having too many windows open

Hello. I had too many windows open and I could not close them because I was running out of memory. So, my only choice was to shut down and start up again. Upon boot, I see the normal message (something like reading ##### blocks out of #####) but after that, the screen just glitches out and my monitor turns off.

What should I do from here? My computer is completely unusable. I am contemplating whether or not to switch back to windows because I am having too many driver and display issues that I cannot fix on manjaro linux.

The computer will go through its normal startup phase, starting with:
/dev/sda1: clean, number/number blocks, number/number files

Then, the screen will turn gray. Then black. Then, it will continue to start to light up and then turn black again until you turn the computer off.

Window manager: i3wm
Processor: i5 something
Video card: gtx 1050 (mobile, i think)
Xorg
Lightdm

Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.
