Good evening,
Manjaro noob here!
I installed it a few days ago on my laptop and I’ve been struggling to have audio since then. I searched on the forum and tried many solutions but nothing worked. I’m out of ideas so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Jtyle6,
Yes, I’ve stumbled upon this page. I’ve installed alsa-firmware, sof-firmware and alsa-ucm-conf. Yet still no sound after a reboot… This is what I see in Pavucontrol

Something that may or may not be of help that I found… Inputting sysdefault in alsamixer as the peripheral name brought me to the Nvidia GPU chip instead of sof-hda-dsp.
Please post more information about PulseAudio

I suggest using this command to unmute and turn up audio to Headphone jack
amixer --card=1 sset Headphone 90% unmute
and this command to clear PulseAudio cookie any audio level settings saved to PulseAudio databases
rm ~/.config/pulse/cookie ~/.config/pulse/*.tdb
and then reboot system to reload audio devices
