I’m pretty new to i3 and i3-gaps. I downloaded the i3 community edition and I’ve seen this on the home screen, home layout. https://i.imgur.com/rmCr4QF.png My question is how do I give a background to this like give it a colour like this one rgba(128, 128, 128, 0.5) something like a grey seethrough colour. Or at least something where I can see the text. Even for the one on the bottom left

conky scripts can be tweaked as you want them, but color codes are hexadecimal. You can start with some basics from here:
