I recently upgraded my Hard Drive and I wanted to record what I did as a tutorial. When I go to the tutorial section it says I can’t post topics there.
I’m guessing there is some moderation of content that goes there. To whom should I send a draft to be considered for a tutorial?
Another thing to consider — although it is somewhat being explained at the above two links — is that a tutorial should really benefit the whole community and not just a corner case, no matter how well one documents said corner case.
An example would be that we’ve had people submit tutorials that were really only covering difficulties with a very specific computer game, or a very specific hardware setup. Such contributions may be put under the parent Contributions category, but they do not belong in the Tutorials category.
Well, if you read the above two links, then you’ll know that these are not the correct questions to ask.
Ultimately however, if you feel that your tutorial abides by the standards laid out at the above two links, you may always send a PM to @moderators with a draft of your tutorial.
