Before I talk about the current problem let me recount installing Hotline Miami to begin with. Originally did a Linux install through Lutris where the game wouldn’t boot past the launcher settings. Then installed it with Wine and the game moved slowly. Finally installed it manually with the linux installer and it runs fine except usually there’s no sound. The sound did play normally a couple of days ago but I haven’t been able to get it working since.
I did find a fix where I added a libCg.so
and libCgGL.so
files to the /game
folder of the installation but I can’t find that link anymore. If I do I’ll edit this post. Either way, that seemed to fix it at the time but since rebooting the sound issue persists.
