First of all i thought this was some hardware issue but Youtube works fine but websites like spotify web player, netflix, prime videos have hissing or some static noise.

i tested firefox, chrome, chromium, opera. Same results

If you only encounter this issue on certain websites it is a website problem - not a manjaro issue.

The phrase ‘help’ in conjuction with any other words is banned - as you you ask a question, then it is implicitly including the word help - which when used won’t get you any further - so don’t use the word help.

Gnome is Gnome and there is nothing you can do to change it.

The forum members are not available for answering questions for which answers could have been found using a simple search - web or otherwise.

If it doesn’t happens in Windows and happens in Linux , i think its best place to ask for some solutions.
Also i searched a lot for this issue, if i could find a solution i wouldn’t ask.

Let’s start with some system information maybe?

I added the info

I don’t spot anything out of ordinary – though i’m no expert in that field – and that issue don’t seem “usual” either.
I personally have no solution to give besides checking audio (ALSA and PulseAudio) and hardware acceleration (in web browser) settings.

I tried to disable hardware acceleration, still happens. I tried to change audio profiles before and playing with alsamixer which had no affect.
Thanks anyways, at least u tried to help.

Does this happen only with the speakers? Or also with a headset?

It happens with every audio output, i tried to record a video but obs or any other screen recorder software couldn’t catch the audio.
As i said above it happens in some websites (i only found youtube working) but i didn’t have this in Windows so it should be a Lİnux based issue, i might be wrong though.

If that issue can’t be (internally) recorded, it’s most likely due to an interference of some sort when the media is being played. Considering the websites you mentioned, it might be related to DRM decoding.

Sorry i worded it wrong, it can be recorded i did it in fedora or other distros before. I cant get any sound from output in manjaro :joy:. Sorry for misunderstanding
